摘要
20世纪70年代后期许多语言学家逐步认识到词汇衔接在语篇构成及语篇解读方面的重要作用。MichaelHoey1991出版的《语篇中的词汇模式》是这方面最具代表性和影响力的著作之一。文章旨在运用他的理论从四个方面阐述词汇衔接在语篇解读方面的重要性。
It is not until the late1970s that many linguists came to realize the importance of lexical cohesion in discourse construct-ing and decoding.One of the most influential and typical works is Patterns of Lexis in Text written by Michael Hoey in1991.This paper attempts to discuss the importance of lexical cohesion in discourse decoding from four aspects by using his theory.
