摘要
作者通过调查问卷的形式探讨了汉语在英语教学中的作用及使用场合及范围。结果表明大多数高校教师在英语课中使用母语来进行语言讲授及课堂管理。学生和教师也都肯定了母语在英语教学中的积极作用。
Mother tongue in English class should be allowed for certain purposes and it can facilitate and support the English teaching targets.The investigations also shows that both the students and teachers respond positively toward certain use of mother tongue in their English class,of course to a certain extent.
