根据国家新时期体育工作的重要精神,高校体育工作在新时期要切实转变体育教育观念,积极改革体育教学形式,大力加强校园体育文化建设、师资队伍建设、体育设施场地建设。

Based on the policies on our country s university physical education in the new era, this paper discusses the status and stresses the importance of university physical education. As is suggested by the paper, to meet the requirements of new era on the university physical education, the concept of physical education should be changed, the forms of university physical education be reformed, the construction of campus physical education culture be promoted, the training of university physical education teachers and the construction of physical education facilities be improved.
