商标词是语言在实际生活中的具体应用 ,是该语言和文化的浓缩与精华。商标词的选择和使用反映了一个民族的历史和文化。学习和使用商标词的有关知识和具体应用不仅可以让我们感受到该语言的精髓与魅力 ,而且也能帮助我们更好地理解和掌握其中的文化积淀及其深刻内涵。本文对比和阐述了中英商标词文化的异同及其互译时应注意的事项。
A trade name is the practical use of a language in daily life. The choice and us e of trade names reflects the history and culture of a nation. Through study of trade names, we can gain deeper insights into usage and essence of the language. This article tries to explore cultural similarities and differences between Chi nese and English trade names in mutual translation,which may help to create Chi nese brands-new world-famous trade names.
