试论在课堂英语教学中充分发挥学生的主动性

An Approach to Students' Active Participation in English Teaching

要改变我国英语教学“费时低效”的现状 ,应该从充分发挥学生在英语学习中的主动性做起。英语学习是学生主动获取英语语言知识 ,通过语言实践将知识转化为语言技能 ,从而获取英语综合运用能力的一系列完整的过程。在这个过程中 ,学生是主动的参与者。英语课堂教学应该充分调动和发挥学生的积极性 ,在各个教学环节中 ,教师都应该“以学生为中心”设计课堂活动 ,尽量多给学生语言实践的机会 ,让他们充分享受到发现知识 ,学以致用的乐趣 ,主动将知识转化为技能 ,最终获取灵活运用英语的综合能力。

It is desirable to begin reform in ELT by ensuring students' active participation in English teaching. In the process of English learning,teachers should try every means to stimulate and make full use of students' active participation by designing various classroom activities to offer them as many opportunities as possible to practice their English. While enjoying the process of learning and practicing English,students,therefore,would actively transform linguistic knowledge into linguistic competence,thus acquiring comprehensive capabilities of using English at their will.
