By using the waveform data recorded during the site survey of Lanzhou Seismic Array, the author calculated and analyzed the correlation of the signal and noise between the site pairs and found that the ideal radii of the two concentric rings for Lanzhou Seismic Array were 380 m and 1500 m, respectively. According to the radius limit and other requirements, nine sites were chosen to make a seismic array, and then the detection and location ability of the array were estimated.
