The enterprise portal is a good choice for the organization to solve the problems in the information management. The functions of the enterprise portal are to integrate all kinds of information and application and to realize the creation, acquirement, transmission and application of the knowledge concerning the organization. In this paper,the basic functions of the enterprise portal are introduced. How the enterprise portal integrates different types of data inside the organization and the application systems is mainly expounded so as to support the decision making and the collaboration.
