On the Designing of the Software for Multimedia-Assisted Foreign Language Teaching: Problems and Guiding Principles

摘要 多媒体辅助外语教学是将多媒体应用于外语教学辅助的技术,它既是一种新兴的外语教学形式,也是多媒体技术在教育教学中意义深远的应用.在现代教育技术中,运用多媒体软件的形式进行教学,可以取得比较理想的教学效果.然而目前我国多媒体外语教学软件存在着很多问题,笔者认为产生这些问题的主要原因在于忽视了对多媒体软件设计的前期分析和对软件设计所遵循的指导原则的理解差异造成的. The multimedia-assisted foreign language teaching (MAFLT) is a kind of technology which applies the multimedia in to foreign language teaching. It is not only a new form of FLT, but also a significan application of the multimedia technology in the education. In the modern teaching technology, relatively ideal teaching effects can be attained by the use of multimedia software. However, in China there are many problems, which, this paper insists that, are caused by the lack of preliminary analysis and misunderstanding of the guiding principles in designing multimedia software.
