也谈谓词隐含及其句法后果问题——与袁毓林先生商榷

My Own Opinion on the Concealment of Predictions and Its Syntax Sequent——An argument with Mr. Yuan Yulin

袁毓林前些年对有价名词以及名词性偏正词组中谓词隐含等问题所进行的研究 ,确实反映了本学科的新进展及前沿性成果。然而这种研究毕竟属于纵深探讨性质。事实上 ,中心语只有具备 [+转让 ]语义特征时 ,提取宾语且隐去谓词的“的”字结构才能称代它。该词组中谓词隐含并非普遍性的 ,典型领有关系的才可能有这种潜在的句法述谓性质。关于“的”字结构 ,我们赞同朱德熙先生“自指”“转指”语义类型的区分 。

A few years ago, Yuan Yulin made a study of the concealment of predictions in negotiable nouns and the word group consisting of a substantive word with its modifier, reflecting the development and a front achievement in this discipline. But such a study belongs in nature to a research in depth. As a matter of fact, only when the substantive word has a /+ transferring/ semantic feature can the“的”-structure refer to the substantive word which is concealed. The concealment of prediction in the word group is not something universal. It is only possible with phrases typical of a possessive relation. About the“的”-structure, we agree with Mr. Zhu Dexi with regard to his semantic classification of“self reference”and“transferred reference”and we give a further proof.
