抽象MIB视图及其在综合网管中的应用

Abstract MIB View and Its Usage in the Intergreted Network Management

在多厂商设备网络环境中,由于各个厂商大量地定义私有MIB,以扩展管理功能,使得多厂商网络的综合网管面临MIB异构性问题.本文提出了一种解决该问题的方法———抽象MIB视图,说明了该技术的原理,描述了在SNMP中的一种实现,并介绍了该项技术在一个多厂商设备的ATM网络综合网管中的应用情况.

Because device vendors allways define properial MIBs to extend the managing function in the multivendor network, the intergreted network mangement of which must deal with the difference of vendorspecific MIBs. This paper proposed a methodabstract MIB viewfor it. This paper discribed its principle, a kind of implementation in SNMP, and its using in a multivendor ATM network intergred management.
