Channel Estimation Techniques for OFDM Systems Based on Pilot Arrangement

In this paper we introduce channel estimation techniques based o n pilot a rrangement for OFDM systems.The channel estimation can be based on eith er block-type pilot assignment or comb-type pilot assignment.We firs t desc ribe sys-tem model with channel estimation.T hen we introduce these two types of ch annel estimation techniques and com pare their perfor-mance in multipath frequency selective fading channels.
