The GAs provide a universal frame for the solvent of complex optimal problems. By imitating the mechanism of heredity and evolution of biology, the algorithm fulfills the adaptive search of the optimized solution. By the adoption of VCGA(various coefficientGA),overcoming the defects of the basic GAs, this paper presented a example programmed on MATLAB.And furthermore, based on MATLAB,this paper realized the optimal design of the controller for 2 DOF PID.And the results of simulation confirm the effectiveness of the VCGA.
