In this paper an overview of development of Device Net is presented, and the main contrent of this Device Net protocol is analyzed. According to the characteristic of the low voltage distribution control process in our country, the author has proposed the strategy of development of the low voltage distribution control system based on Device Net,because there are low voltage electrical apparatus products with Device Net communication interface.
