By revamping the wet desulfurization for gas purification, it is believed that the drawbacks of the conventional sulfur foam recovery process being high energy consumption, high labor intensity and environmental pollution,are overcome .The recovery of sulfur foams is automatized, and satisfactory results are obtained.
