On Sept. 20, 2003, South Korean king of Go chess Cho Hoon-Hyun faced off against Chinese top player Chang Hao in a rare battle of wits, which took place on the city tower of Fenghuang (Phoenix) as two armies of samurais, clad in black or white, followed the exact strategies of the two masters to perform martial arts moves on a 31.7m x 31.7m board. Cho walked down the city tower as a winner with a 20,000 US dollars check.
