This article introduces a new technology of prosthetic disc nucleus replacement to treat lumbar disc herniation. The preliminary clinic experience, short time following ups, indications, contraindications, size and method of the technique were discussed. It was noted that some patients had short but heavy lumbago after the operation but the pain was relieved after oral medication.
