摘要
5 脂氧酶(5 LOX)是催化花生四烯酸形成白三烯的关键酶.它除了存在于外周参与炎症反应外,在中枢神经系统也大量表达.在中枢的表达主要受褪黑素和糖皮质激素的调节.尽管其对于中枢神经系统的作用目前并不十分清楚,大量研究表明,5LOX参与了生理状态下的脑细胞增殖,并在神经元退变中扮演了重要角色.因此,5 脂氧酶途径可能成为研究神经元退行性疾病的防治的重要靶点.
5Lipoxygenase (5LOX) is a key enzyme critical for leukotriene synthesis from arachidonic acid. In addition to its role in peripheral inflammation, this enzyme is also expressed in central nervous system neurons. Its expression is regulated by melatonin and glucocorticoids.
