The main reduction methods for abandoned drilling fluids are discussed in this paper. The output and emission of abandoned drilling fluids can be reduced efficiently by the application of these methods. The pollution of environment and ground water can thus be decreased. The drilling market share in China and abroad and economic benefit will be enhanced.
