Fairies in the Green Country is a novel of critical realism by the famous writer of the Qing Dynasty.Described in the novel are the figures of Wen Ru-yu,Zhou Lian,Hu Jian-sheng,Baldhead Miao,Pockmarks Xiao,Jin Zhong-er,who won high artistic achievement in describing them.The novel exposes the life at the end of the feudalism,showing us the complex social life,and the cruel world,for which it is considered as an encyclopedia of the feudal society.
