唐樊衡露布所记吐蕃告身有关问题的探讨

A Discussion about the Identity of Ancient Tibetan Soldiers on the Situation Report by Fanheng

根据樊衡露布所记吐蕃将领职务、告身及排位,并结合敦煌吐蕃文献中有关资料及藏汉史籍有关记载进行分析,我们认为:1.吐蕃人对告身有不言其大小的习惯说法;2.驻守边地的一些吐蕃将领因有关决定未送达而在一定时间内暂无告身,有的吐蕃将领则可能拥有另外的荣誉标志而无告身;3.吐蕃告身应为一种荣誉性标志,决定将领排位的是其职务。

According to the record on the "Situation Report" by Fan Heng and based on the Tibetan documents in Dunhuang and other relative Chinese and Tibetan references,we deem that 1.The Tibetan was in the habit of introducing their position without mentioning their levels;2.some defending bordering generals had no honorable position because of the unarrived procuratory,some had honorable ranks instead of honorable position;and,3.the honorable position should be simply a symbol of honor,their ranking order was decid...
