Starting from the definition and characteristics of knowledge service and based on the multiple views of scholars home and abroad on the library s modern library s core value,this paper tries to look for the meeting point between knowledge service and library s core value.The connotation and extension of modern library s core value is explored and the argument is illustrated and discussed that modern library s core value is just knowledge service.
