基于小波变换图像压缩软件的实现

摘要 针对传统小波变换过程复杂的缺点和SPIHT算法编码过程重复运算、存储量大的问题,提出一种改进的图像压缩编码方法。通过设计软件实现了静态影像的压缩编码。 In view of the problems of complicated convolution process of wavelet transform,repeated calculations and a large of needed memories of SPIHT algorithm.An improved method that uses wavelet transform for image compression is presented.visual C++ 6.0 is used as a programming platform,and a demo system of static image compression is realized.
