Allusions are used widely in all kinds of styles due to its features of vividness,impressiveness and conciseness.Based on the semiotic theory,the pragmatic meaning of allusion is analyzed for an insight into the restrict of context to allusion translation.And the translation methods are discussed in the paper combining Skopos theory.
