Nida's famous notion of Dynamic Equivalence in translation process is characterized by three stages - analysis, transfer and restructuring, which are explained in detail. The application of these principles are illustrated by providing step-by-step explanation on the translation process of headings of two news reports, which are selected from Far Eastern Economic Review.
