摘要
在湛江市辖各县、区解剖观察26头成年水牛和5头未成年水牛的头骨。见到其枕骨、顶骨、额骨、上颌骨和顶窦等有不同于以前的有关资料所描述的特征。其中枕骨基底部两侧面上缘有浅沟及其前端的血管孔。测量上述26头成年水牛头骨得到的体尺数字与《中国水牛解剖》一书中的相应数字比较,差异显著(P<O.001)。
In the anatomization and observation of the skulls of 26 adult buffaloes and 5 ungrown-up ones in various counties and districts in Zhanjiang, some local features are clearly found intheir occipital, parietal frontal, maxilla and sinus parietal. However, the grooves at the upperedges on both sides of their occipital base and the blood vessels in their front are first report-ed. By comparing the figures obtained from the measurement of the above-mentionedskulls, respectively with the relevant figures in《The Anatomy of China's Buffalo》,apparent-ly an extreme difference is found.(P<0.001)
