我国小城镇发展战略探微

Considerations on the Present Urbanization Strategy: Preferential Development of Small Towns

小城镇建设中土地利用非集约化必将制约小城镇的长期发展 ,给日益增长的人口带来巨大的供养风险。必须对小城镇重点发展战略重新进行理性思考 ,只有重点发展部分有潜力的县城和县域中心镇 ,才符合可持续发展战略的要求。为此有关政策应进行相应的调整。

The extensive land use in the construction of small towns, in the long term, obviously has a series of negative impacts on the development of small cities and towns, will finally bring huge risks in feeding the increasingly larger population of China. The authorities has to reconsider in a more scientific way about the present urbanization strategy which put the stress on the preferential construction of small towns. This paper argues that to meet the requirements of sustainable development of the country, instead of pushing the development of all towns, the authorities should only preferentially develop those potential towns which are the capital of the county or the potential regional center. Thus the present policies concerning the small towns development should be adjusted.
