China's joining WTO will certainly bring great changes to the society both in economy and poli-tics as well. The Party's 15th Congress calls its people to establish a socialist market economy and a socialist legal system country. This will, no doubt, bring another profound change to judiciary in China. This article analyses the history of China's arbitration career, its present situation and its development after China' s joining WTO. It also points out the environmental situation of social economy in which arbitration develops after China' s joining WTO and the measures to be adopted by arbitration organizations.
