It is an important goal for universities to promote the quality education. And being a part of the three keys in university-oriented education in an all-round way. As one of the three key pillars in the university education, the university libraries play an irreplaceable way in the implementationof the quality-oriented education. The paper expounds some important functions of libraries in the education of university students, and how to make the full use of the library resources to help them improve their creative and practical ability and also explains some targets and ways for the libraries to do a better job in the quality-oriented education.
