Process and prospect for automatic construction of library in China

良好的网络环境与文献数字化的建设 ,加快了我国图书馆自动化的进程。文章论述了我国图书馆自动化建设的问题 ,指出发展的趋势是电子文献将取代纸质文献 ,但电子文献与纸质文献不仅仅是前者取代后者的关系 ,而很可能是“长期共存 ,共同发展”。

With the construction of favorable network environmentnce and digital literature, the process for the automatic construction of the library hasbeen quickened. The paper discusses some problems in this regard, points out that the trend to substitute digital literature for paper literature, and puts forward the relation between them :the former will not replace the latter but most probably both will coexist for a long time and develop together.
