Chinese thousandyearold culture is broad and profound and Chinese ancient architecture enjoys high reputation in the history of world architecture. It is a heavy load for our foreign languages workers to let foreign readers understand and appreciate Chinese ancient architectural culture. This paper proceeds from introduction of the characteristics in the ancient architectural book translation and adopts approaches in interaction between literal translation and free translation to unfold Anhui Ancient Architecture before both Chinese and foreign readers′ eyes.
