“意识流”是舶来品 ,国内大量的文学史料证明 ,它被中国现代文坛中的有识之士所认识、传播、接受、研究 ,乃至转化 ,这一过程折射出西方“意识流”在中国现代文坛自由的衍化 ,有赖于当时特定历史阶段一般盛行的“实践理性”;它充分显露出现代文坛中的“拿来主义”者们不断沉淀的现代意识之崛起 ,并有力地支撑着他们力图实现中外文学交流之目的 ,使自身文学的必然王国健康地向文学的自由王国迈进的热切企盼。

The stream of consciousness' is an imported expression. A lot of literature at home has proved that the technique had been first understood, promulgated, accepted, studied and transformed by some insightful people engaged in the studies of modern Chinese literature. This process reflected the fact that the free spread of the stream of consciousness technique relied on the prevailing 'practical reason' at the specific time. Moreover, it fully demonstrates the gradual development of the modern consciousness that gives in turn a great support to the prospect of realizing the final goal of the international communication in literature, a strong desire to step forward from the literary realm of necessity to the literary realm of freedom.
