Some concrete measures and critical techniques to use advance roofbolt shot cycling technique for overcoming technically difficult problems of tunnel portal construction in sandy gravel in construction of the Qiaoxigou branch tunnel of the Luojiawan Hydropower Station,Siping Toiwnship,Yingjing County are described.
