The rhetoric of the euphemism has come into being for a long time.The Historical Records has inherted it from pre-qin dynasty,kept many examples of it in text,and enrich and develop it successfully.The euphemism in this book can be classified two kinds:Artistic euphemism and intentative euphemism.So the reseach of euphemism is an important key for understanding'the Historical Records'.
