1670年至1671年,蒲松龄作为幕僚走进文化感觉区,即幕主孙蕙所在的扬州。蒲松龄在此一年的最大收获,一是形成了《聊斋志异》鲜明的南北地域风格;二是以江南女子为原型塑造了众多的花妖狐魅。

From the year of 1670 to 1671, Pu Songling, as a member of aides and staff, entered the cultural feeling area--Yangzhou where the general Sun Hui lived. The greatest results in this period were the following two things. One was the formation of the distinct south and north regional style in Collections of Bizarre Stories. The other was the creation of many fairies taking southern girls as prototypes.
