本文认为 ,运用本体论研究文学 ,其要旨在于把文本视为一个独立自在的结构。它是自足的 ,也是自我确定的。因此 ,麦克来什的诗歌《诗艺》所表达的思想与此相符 ,属于以诗的形式对本体论意义的诗的呈现。

This paper believes that the gist of doing literary research in the framework of ontology is to look up text as an autonomous structure, which is self-satisfying as well as self-defining. Therefore, the idea expressed in the poem Ars Poetica by Archibald Macleish conforms to this. It is the ontologic presentation of poetry in the form of poem.
