The direct consumption on housing was 9588 hundred million USD and accounted for 9.71% of GDP. The empty rate was 5.9%. The average price of new house was 80USD per square feet and the value of a suit of house (2000 square feet) was 160 thousand USD. The rate of housing credit expend on income was 1:4.7. There were still 3500 families renting houses in America.
