An intelligent breaker is a kind of power controller based on microprocessor.Because of high real time performance,it needs an algorithm of fast measurement and overload calculation.This paper first introduces the protection performance of an intelligent breaker,then discusses the algorithm of AC measurement and overload calculation,as well as their implementation.
