试析陈寅恪晚年“著书唯剩颂红妆”的原因

On the Causes of Chen Yanke's Praise of Women in His Later Works

陈寅恪一生钟爱中古史研究,他在史学方面的代表作也都集中在魏晋隋唐时期。但他晚年却用了大部分精力撰写《论再生缘》、《柳如是别传》两部专著,研究重心放在明清之际两个女子身上。他晚年"著书唯剩颂红妆"的原因主要在于:阐发独立精神、自由思想;移情忘现实之痛苦;抒发兴亡之感;自验学术深浅。

Chen Yinke always enjoys studying of ancient history of China all his life, and his famous books of history all centralize in the period of Weijin and Suitang Dynastyies. But during his late time he put almost all his energy on writing two books On Predstined Relation ship after Rebirth and The Anecdotage of Liu Rushi and his research was centred on the two women of Ming and Qing Dynasties. This article will state that the reason why during his late time all his books praised only women is to illustrate his spirit of independency and free thinking, to transfer his feelings so as to forget his sufferings from reality, to express his feelings of succeeding and defeatment, to self-test his academic degree.
