Based on Marx s books, this paper argues that Marx s individual theory and his theory of socially basic contradiction are unified: in regard to the starting point, Marx s individual theory takes real individuals as its starting point; Marx s theory of socially basic contradiction takes the production of means of material subsistence as its starting point.
