论“度柳翠”杂剧的两个系统

A Comparative Study of Two Versions of Du Liu-cui

元人李寿卿《月明和尚度柳翠》与明人徐渭《玉禅师翠乡一梦》均搬演月明和尚“点化”妓女柳翠成佛的故事 ,但两剧的剧情、人物、命意却完全不同。两者之间既无同源 ,也无先后承继关系。李寿卿的《度柳翠》是佛教观念的演绎 ,是一则风格严肃的“度脱”剧 ;徐渭的《玉禅师》则取材于民间传说 ,是中国民间对佛教观念的解读 ,是一则戏谑滑稽的谐剧。文章以“细读”的方式 ,对两剧的剧情、人物、命意加以比较分析 ,并参以史实辨证 。

Monk Moon saves Liu Cui by Li Shouqing, a Yuan dramatist, and Monk Jade’s dream in Green Land by Xu Wei, a Ming dramatist, are dramatic performance of Liu Cui, a prostitute who is converted to Buddhism by Monk Moon.
