Community College Provides Higher Education Service to Beijing Residents

1999年成立的北京社区学院朝阳社区学院,以居民需求为办学出发点,反响强烈。社区学院模式虽然来自西方发达国家。但近几年,在中国得到迅速发展,成为中国高等教育和成人教育的一种重要形式,让中国人生活在学习中成为现实。

Chaoyang Community College was set up in 1999.As the first of its kind in Beijing,the college has been embraced by residents warmly as it caters to their specific needs.Ever since the model was imported from Western countries a few years ago,it has been growing very fast in China,making higher learning in everyday life possible for ordinary residents in the capital city of China.
