摘要
可持续发展是我国跨世纪的基本战略,福建作为全国沿海改革开放后社会经济高速发展的地区之一,经济发展与人口、资源、环境之间的协调尤为迫切。文章着重从文化内涵分析地域文化对持续发展的影响,认为福建文化的开放性、商业性及重视教育、强调亲缘等文化传统为社会经济的发展做出了巨大贡献,但必须克服其文化中功利性倾向、落后的生育观念、浓厚的巫觋色彩等消极因素的影响,才能真正实现区域的可持续发展。
