Second language acquisition is a very complicated Psychological Process. It involves lots of related factors. Since the subject was born, researchers have been inquiring into it from the cross section, deep section and also from different fields, such as applied linguistics, psycholinguistics, neurolinguistics. They have advanced a lot of theories related with SLA. The paper summarizes SLA research state, the multiple-subject characteristic, theory models and SLA research themes.
