Expanding to the enemy - occupied areas is a strategic decision made by the CCP during the war of resistance against Japan. This paper examines in detail the historical settings under which the decision was made , the tactics and steps it was carried out and its achievements. It also discusses the great influence of the decision and gives further explanations to the facts that the CCP played the leading role in the war of resistance against Japan.
