包装的出现,是人类社会发展的必然产物。伴随着中华民族悠久的历史,我国的包装同样经历了由原始到文明、由简易到繁杂的发展进程。一、上古至商周远古时代,我们的祖先在经历了漫长的脑与手的进化之后,开始进入有意识的创造性劳动阶段。他们由简单利用植物叶、枝条、兽皮包裹物品发展到编制筐、篮等用来储物。当掌握了养蚕抽丝、捻线织布等更高文明之后,开始有了明确的包装要求。

This article holds that,as the remains of objects,the packing and decoration of some things in ancient times had become the carrier of human civilization.In this article the author discusses the antiquities for the purpose of packing and decoration from the neolithic age to the Ming Dynasty of China and gives the then packing tools in illustration of the specific cultural atmosphere and the sources of the same kind of things through the ages.
