元人班惟志二体千字文卷

班惟志(十三世纪后期至十四世纪前期),字彦恭,号恕斋,大梁(今河南开封)人。善诗文书法,颇有书名。据元木陶宗仪《书史会要》卷七记载,他在元仁宗年间(1312-1320年)经由著名文人、大书法家邓文元(1258—1328年)举荐.入经局为徽仁裕圣皇后书写泥金大藏经,补州教授,累官至集贤待制,江浙儒学提举。其书法“早岁宗二王,笔势翩翩,不失书家法度”,明代袁宗道谓其“行书清健出尘,不在赵王孙(孟頫)之下”。班惟志与大画家黄公望(1269—

The original calligraphy of Ban Weizhi (the late 13th century——the early 14th century) handed down from the Yuan Dynasty is rare seen.The“Thousand-Character Essay”in two scripts by Ban Weizhi introduced in this paper is the only one known so far.
