漫说宣德珐琅器

The enamel ware of the Xuande period

香港佳士得拍卖行去年秋季拍卖一件宣德款掐丝珐琅小圆盒,口径仅12厘米,却以9,950,000元港币成交,令世人惊叹。而我却认为买者慧眼知宝,有胆识,有远见。因为宣德珐琅器工艺精湛,艺术品格高雅,传世很少,得之非常不易。也是因为此件珐琅器成交的缘故,近半年来,曾有多人向我询问有关宣德或明代珐琅器的各种问题。答解之余,也引起我的深入思考,经过梳理写成此文,谈谈个人之见,以供爱好、收藏、研究者们参考。谈起宣德朝的工艺品,人们首先想到和称道的是瓷器、雕漆和铜炉。

This article discusses the characteristics in shapes and patterns of the enamel wares of the Xuande period, Ming Dynasty, and their present conditions, thus showing that it is not at all surprising that a piece of small enamel box with Xuande mark was struck bargain with high price at the autunm auction of Guard in Hong Kong last year.
