Pingyao International Photography Festival, which was operated in line with international norms, is both the largest international photo trading fair ever held in China and the biggest international exchange activity ever conducted in Shanxi. It has set up a stage upon which photographers at home and abroad could compare notes with each other so as to make progress together; it has opened a window through which people from other countries of the world can see a vivid Shanxi; and it has erected a bridge across which Shanxi is going out to the world at an even faster speed.
