雨花石以其古老的历史、丰富的内涵被视为金陵文化的象征。她以精美、秀丽、色彩斑斓、通灵剔透,被历代藏石家视为尤物而珍藏,有“石中皇后”之美誉。 1955年,南京博物院在发掘新石器时代的北阴阳营人墓葬时,在数十座墓中发现76枚雨花石。

Rain--dotted-stone is the symbol of Jinling's culture due to its long history and lich connotation, which is also famousand preferred by collectors throughout the history for its delicate pattern, ravish color and moist quality.
