The feasibility study on 18-month fuel cycles project of Daya Bay Nuclear Power Station is briefly introduced. The fuel assembly type and features, and the core design criteria are defined. Fuel analyses and the core design results are well discussed. Chre designs of Daya Bay 18-month fuel cycles is accomplished under the independent design review and the engineering design participation of the utility, which reaches the international advanced standards and fully meets owner' s requirements.
